Our Leadership

Pastors Dave and Kate Sumrall believe that bringing the family back to the center of our lives is crucial to helping raise the next generation of passionate, Jesus-following leaders. Their competitive nature and athletic drive carried them both into D1 college athletics, and they wholeheartedly believe that the next generation of athletes can achieve great success without having to give up family, church, and integrity.

Dave and Kate are the founding and lead pastors of ITOWN Church in Fishers, Indiana. Since 2010, the church has grown from a small launch team to thousands who gather at three locations around Indiana. The Sumralls are passionate about helping people find Jesus and flourish throughout life.

Dave is blessed to come from a rich ministry heritage as the grandson of the late Dr. Lester Sumrall. In his twenties, he worked as a missionary in the Philippines for several years, leading a television ministry, a young adult ministry, and tent crusades. Dave graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Kate graduated with honors from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Pastors Dave and Kate have six kids: Haley Beth, Hanna, Henlee, Tait, George, and Thunder.
